    Job Description

    Manages a large dining center that contains 6 self-branded concepts (Fighting Gobbler Sports Lounge, J.P.'s Chop House, Seven 70, Blend, Leaf and Ladle, & Rossa) and a micro-market under the direction of the Associate Director. Responsibilities include execution of menu plan, budget plan, personnel plan, supervision, counseling, training and development of employees, customer relations, safety and sanitation, and the security and maintenance of building and equipment. Ensures a safe and sanitary environment for customers and employees and that all policies and procedures are followed. Ensures a high level of customer service at all times to all dining facilities.
    Responsibilities include execution of menu plan, budget plan, personnel plan, supervision, counseling, training and development of employees, customer relations, safety and sanitation, and the security and maintenance of buildings and equipment. Responsible for overseeing the development and renovations of concepts, services, and menus. Ensures a safe and sanitary environment for customers and employees and that all policies and procedures are followed. Ensures that facilities and equipment are well-maintained and presented to a high level. Ensures that all franchise corporate standards are being followed on a daily basis. Ensures a high level of customer service at all times in the dining facility.

    Required Qualifications

    • Experience in higher education and with university dining plans, Business Management, Hospitality or related program, or culinary certification program.
    • Strong and successful management and supervision experience in a high volume, multiple item menu, retail and/or institutional food service environment and electronic menu/recipe management.
    • Experience and working knowledge of commercial kitchen and food service operations; budgeting and operations management.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and public; excellent supervision and leadership abilities; and excellent customer services skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of computers including Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and automated payroll, and automated food ordering/inventory systems.

    The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check as well as a driving check with a safe driving record.

    Work Schedule:  Varied to include nights, weekends, holidays, and as needed for good customer service.
