I chose Virginia Tech because of its strong sense of community and the culture of people genuinely wanting to help one another succeed. I have always been drawn to the Ut Prosim philosophy—"That I May Serve"—because it reflects the kind of environment I wanted to be part of. I value collaboration, supporting others, and making a positive impact, and I saw those values reflected in the students, faculty, and staff at Virginia Tech.
I wanted to come to a university where learning extends beyond the classroom and where people are encouraged to use their knowledge and skills to serve others. Being part of a community that prioritizes service, connection, and shared success has made Virginia Tech the right place for me, and it continues to inspire how I approach helping students and my involvement on campus.
