Eric G. Director Organizational DevelopmentThe achievement I am most proud of may sound a little cheesy, but it came from my son. Since joining Virginia Tech, I have had the opportunity to share my expertise, lead meaningful work, and receive recognition for my service. But one day, my son was asked, “What does your father do at Virginia Tech?” and his response was, “My dad is a leader at Virginia Tech.” That moment has stayed with me. To me, that is the kind of achievement many of us hope for which is to be seen as a leader, a helper, or someone who makes an impact, especially in the eyes of the people we love most.
