This question really made me reflect. One of the biggest factors that keeps me motivated is the variety in my role. I get to work on administrative, operational, fiscal, and Board of Visitors projects, so no two days feel the same, which keeps things engaging.

I’m also motivated by the team environment. My coworkers and I are all working toward shared goals, and especially with Board of Visitors work, it feels very collaborative. We each contribute different pieces, but it comes together as one effort. Having an environment where we can communicate openly and support each other makes a big difference and reduces stress.

Personal growth is another key motivator for me. I try to take advantage of opportunities that help me improve, especially when they align with my personal life. While working, I was able to complete my Master’s degree, and having that support and flexibility meant a lot to me.

Lastly, my family is a big source of motivation. It’s rewarding to know they’re proud of the work I’m doing, and it makes me feel like I’m contributing not just professionally, but personally as well.

I hope this helps answer your question and I'm happy to discuss more if you'd like!
